What a couple of days!
Where do I start!
Victoria was beautiful. We arrived and checked into our hotel and then went for a swim (or workout) in the hotels spa facilities. The evening allowed the group to choose where they would like to eat in smaller groups around the Main Street in Victoria and everyone appreciated the opportunity to try out different places.
The following day we went whale watching and wow what an experience that was! One group ended up getting a front seat for a 2 40 foot hump back whale show where they were within touching distance of the boat. We also saw killer whales and seals as well to top off a fantastic time in Victoria. Following this amazing experience we headed to our training session at Falcon Gymnastics and by the end of it everyone was ready for their dinner! We then packed up ready for our trip to Strathcona!
Strathcona was stunning, peaceful and idyllic. The views from the rooms were to die for and it was sent around the most fantastic lake. We arrived and immediately headed for the lake beach to spend some much needed down time and chilled out. After dinner we headed for a walk, or should I say hike, up to a view spot. The girls would agree it was all worth it though for the view. We then headed back for much needed sleep ready for our day of activities!
Tuesday saw us zip lining, traveling across a high ropes course, paddling a massive boat as a group, sliding down a slide in a canoe and paddle boarding! All in all a very busy but fantastic day.
On Wednesday we packed up reluctantly and left our little piece of paradise and headed back to the mainland where we went straight to club Aviva for our 5th training session. The staff were fantastic and we are looking forward to our final session tomorrow!

Technology (or lack of!) strikes again
The staff in Canada are having serious issues with the wifi and signal now that they've left the mainland.
They've arrived safely at the lodge and have had a fab day whale watching yesterday.
More details will follow when they have signal and more reliable wifi - probably when they're back on the mainland on Wednesday.

We're all a bunch of clowns!
Every day just keeps getting better and better!
We didn't stop today! First stop we went to Capilano and walked (and tumbled) across the suspension bridge...we did get our own personalised warning afterwards that tumbling probably wasn't the best idea! We then followed a tree top walk and had an ice cream before heading off to a mall for some lunch.
In the afternoon, we travelled to Vancouver Circus School and had the most incredible time there! We used the trampolines, learned how to walk up walls, spin plates and throw and catch sticks using sticks (it's a lot harder than it sounds) and the most exciting bit was learning how to use silks! Lots of fun was had by all and everyone came away having learned something new!
Once back at the hotel, it was a quick turn around and off to Gastown for some souvenir shopping and then dinner at Boston Pizza.
A jam packed exhausting day but incredible all the same!
Tomorrow we head off to Vancouver Island and Victoria, and we're looking forward to what new things they have in store for us!
